Filter out url query parameters that GA shouldn’t interpret

Sometimes you have a url query parameter that you don’t want google analytics to pick up. The following example is a quiz where some data is passed through the URL. I don’t want to have this end up in my reports though.

All I have to do is to head into my main view settings in google analytics and enter the corresponding query parameter into the field “Exclude URL Query Parameters”
